Channeling Raw Art From Thought
Born in Brooklyn and raised on the south side of Jamaica, Queens—a place that pulses with the rhythm of life and rebellion. My journey began in the mid-80s, during the golden era of hip hop, when lyrical giants like Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, and Nas ruled the airwaves. Their wordplay, storytelling, and unapologetic truths spoke to me. A childhood friend, Rohan Nuefville, aka “LO,” saw artistic potential in me and encouraged me to pick up the pen, tapping into my raw ability to craft lyrics.
What started as an outlet for expression during a rebellious and reckless phase of life became my salvation. Personal experiences, hard lessons, and observations from those turbulent years—including a lengthy imprisonment—shaped my voice. During that time, I met a fellow prisoner who introduced me to the transformative power of spoken word poetry. Those first verses were the seeds of my evolution, where rhythm met introspection, and raw emotion became art.
Today, I am the architect of narratives that push boundaries and challenge conventions. Whether crafting hip-hop lyrics, performing spoken word, or penning forbidden tales of eroticism and truth, my work flows from the deepest parts of my soul. Every word is a spell, every story a mirror, and every rhyme a call to action.
